Is this supported in OpenSTack pluginv3.x?

I do not believe it is supported for either v2 or v3. Would you like to prioritize this task?

No need to expedite. It should be handled in the scope of 5.1 according to the planned priorities.

It doesn’t work to add a to an existing project. And we haven’t addressed this with the customer’s preferred approach.

From the customer:

“It would be much easier and straightforward if groups could have been added to projects using specific relationships.
Then it would be an additional relationship added in case when a group needs to be added to the project. And relationship removal would lead to removing of a group from the project.
In this case we could have used standard blueprint syntax and standard deployment update operation; and this would simplify integration with Cloudify client applications, because there would be no need for implementation a specific update_project operation.”
